Epirus is a delight to vacationers looking for breathtaking natural beauty, a rich historical landscape and restaurants that serve meals made from the region's bountiful farms and vineyards.

Epirus also offers visitors a section of Greece not seen by most tourists. It is a region that still shows many of the marks of the Ottoman empire and combines elements of East and West in its food and architecture.

Most visitors to Greece know the blue sea, but Greece also offers rugged mountain landscapes for hiking and fly fishing.

Northwestern Greece - known as Epirus -offers exceptional fly fishing. The  freestone mountain streams as well as limestone waters contain rich insect life and large numbers of trout.

Ioannina, the capital of Epirus, offers vacationers restaurants, museums and a landscape rich with history.
